Case Study
Eight Days to First Delivery: Rescuing a Stalled WordPress to HubSpot Migration
The Organization
Boutique marketing agency (confidential)
A boutique marketing agency had a nonprofit client’s HubSpot migration sitting months past deadline after the contractor building it went quiet. We took the build over and delivered a new theme, six rebuilt pages, and more than twenty custom modules eight days later.

The Challenge
Boutique marketing agency (confidential)
The agency hired a contractor to move their nonprofit client from WordPress to HubSpot. Months in, the work was late, the updates were thin, and nobody could say when it would be finished. The agency was the one sitting in front of the client every week without an answer.
The build was not the hard part. The hard part was that the schedule had lost its credibility, and the client relationship was going the same way. Every week without a delivery made the next conversation worse, and there was no path on the table that ended with the site launching.
The Solution
A new theme, six pages, and 20+ modules in eight days
We started from the approved designs and content the agency already had, and built a new HubSpot theme rather than inheriting a partial build nobody could vouch for. Six pages were rebuilt from their WordPress originals to match the approved design instead of approximating it.
Behind those pages went more than twenty custom modules, including custom hero sections and animated sections, every one of them built as a drag-and-drop component inside the HubSpot builder. That was a deliberate call. The agency’s content managers had to own the site after handoff, and a page only a developer can change is a bill the client pays again in six months.
First delivery landed eight days after we started. The revisions after it were light.
The Result
The agency shipped, and the client finally signed off
Eight days moved the project further than the previous several months had. The agency had something real to put in front of its client, the end client signed off, and the account went back to a normal delivery rhythm. The content team edits every one of those pages themselves.
