Some courses were based around seemingly silly ideas, like a Texas BBQ course, knitting, or foraging for mushrooms. Others were more serious – I was shocked by how many six-figure communities there were for military spouses, or providing life coaching, or just being a place to find support.
The second finding was something the data analyst and I uncovered. We looked at the user data for every course – yes, tens of thousands of them, compiled together using machine learning.
And what we discovered was that every customer tended to “peak” at one of several levels.
Here’s the wild thing: it took each business the same amount of time from signup to hit their final revenue tier.
I can’t share specific numbers. But for the sake of example, let’s say it took 500 days on average for a business to reach their final revenue tier.
So that means:
This finding showed the difference between someone who only made $1000 and who made literally 1000x that WASN’T time… it was action.
Taking action was the one thing every successful business had in common. Instead of spending too much time overpreparing, overplanning, and being overwhelmed, they took small, measurable actions.
The result? Incredible success for some. Less than incredible success for others. (Remember this – it’ll be important soon.)
